  National Youth Service’s day is a day for youth to mobilize and join together in a way that benefits and addresses the needs of their community. On April 16, 2013, in honor of National Youth Services Day, Huntington Youth Court members donated their time to help a local community food bank. The Youth Court members packaged nearly 200 meals that will be distributed to families in need. The Helping Hand Rescue Mission provides food, clothing, household items, education, prayer support, and counseling to those in need in the Huntington community. It is located at 225 Broadway, in Huntington Station.
